Be the first to put together a complete skeleton.
Is it a matter of luck or skill or both?
For this game you will need several jointed paper skeletons. Carefully take them apart so that you have a head, two upper arms, two lower arms with hands, a torso, two upper legs, and two lower legs with feet for each one. You will need one complete skeleton for each player or team. You will also need a die (no pun intended -- one of a pair of dice).
Number the backs of the body parts this way:
head
torso
upper arm
lower arm with hand
upper leg
lower leg with foot
Let's play!
Put all the skeleton body parts in the center. The first player rolls the die and she can take the body section that matches the number to comes up. The players take turns rolling the die and getting the matching body parts. The first to complete a whole skeleton is the winner. To complete a skeleton the player will have to roll numbers 3, 4, 5, and 6 twice because two of each of those are needed. If a player rolls a number to match a body she doesn't need, she loses her turn.
Want to make it a little harder? Make up Halloween related questions to be answered correctly before the die may be rolled. What questions? Do I have to think of everything???? OK, here a few easy ones to get you thinking.
