Ghostly Gifs
Here are some Halloween images for you to print out and color.

frank There are two pages of Halloween pictures.

house Page 1 has pictures ready for you to color and cut out.

Page 2 is even more fun! These are outline pictures and you can really get creative with them. Add your own features. Trace them onto light-weight cardboard (tagboard, an old folder, the back of a cereal box, etc.). Cut them out and use them as templates to trace around.

You may print out each page -- they all fit on one page when I print them out on my printer. Or you can download individual images one at a time. If you don't know how to do that, ask someone to show you how. It is easy once you learn how.

If you would rather have the images in the BMP format, you can download them all in this zip file (31 Kb).

You can use these pictures on party invitations, placecards, and other decorations. Here are a few ideas. You will think of many more! And remember, you can make any of these party supplies with your own drawings too!

[] Invitations
Fold a 6 inch by 9 inch piece of orange colored construction paper in half to form a card. Cut a neat 3-1/2 inch by 5 inch rectangle of dark green or black construction paper. Paste it on the front of your card. Now paste your Halloween picture on the front. Inside the card write when and where your party will be. Write very neatly. You may want to paste a rectangle of typing paper on the inside. It will make it easier to write neatly.

magic Placecards
Fold a 3 inch by 5 inch index card in half the long way. On one end paste a picture so that the top half sticks up above the fold. On the other end write the name.

magic Placemats
For each placemat, you will need one piece of black construction paper that is 12 inches by 14 inches and one piece of orange construction paper that is 9 inches by 12 inches. (If you do not have large size construction paper, just overlap and paste two 9 inch by 12 inch sheets to make the correct size.)

Paste the orange construction paper neatly in the middle of the larger black paper. Turn the placemat so the long sides are at the top and bottom. Paste a Halloween picture in the upper left-hand corner so that it overlaps both the black and orange papers.

If you like, you may add another picture in the lower right-hand corner or use a light-colored crayon to draw decorations around the black edge. Be creative! If you are doing a pumpkin theme, you might want to cut-out green leaves to paste all around the edges. If you are doing something a little more creepy, then you might, on the black edge, draw a ghost or two so they look like they are peeping out from under the orange paper.

[] Decorate!
Paste the pictures on circles of black, orange, and green construction paper. Attach thread to each and hang them in doorways, from the lights, or anywhere unexpected.

[] Paper Chains
Cut orange and black construction paper into 1 inch by 6 inch strips. Tape or paste one orange strip into a ring. Thread a black strip through the orange ring and paste or tape it closed. Continue adding rings to the chain, alternating the colors. When your chain is long enough, drape it across a doorway or window. Paste a Halloween picture at each end of the chain where it is attached to the doorway or window.
